The Solution

Through double-layer construction and new processing methods, two major factors could be combined in the new Isospeed TwinBase to result in an excellent cost/performance ratio: firstly, sintering in order to produce material of the highest quality, and secondly, using different extrusion types. One-third of the sheeting consists of optimally adhesive material, two-thirds are optimized for their role in the gliding surface.

With this composition, we achieve quality without compromise on both sides of our ski/snowboard coatings.

The Possibilities

Many innovative formulations, such as the addition of increased amounts of wax, have only become possible as a result of the TwinBase technology, as the adhesiveness of the coating is not impaired.

Even the addition of expensive glide additives becomes significantly cheaper, since only two thirds of the coating needs to be modified.
