ISOGLASS – Laminates

ISOSPORT manufactures various fibre-compound materials with epoxy-matrix in a continuous production procedure. This allows for the realisation of exceptionally high-quality laminates with tailored properties. These ISOSPORT laminate compound materials were especially developed for the requirements of ski and snowboard construction.

Roving and fabrics composed of E-glass, carbon and basalt are impregnated with high-quality epoxy resins and processed to compounds. Special machines achieve optimal saturation despite the high fibre content. Regular quality inspections of the basic components, such as measuring viscosity, reactivity, and epoxide equivalent weight ensure that the curing process remains uniform and constant during production.

In order to achieve the optimal combination of rigidity and adhesiveness, our laminates receive special surface processing in accordance with their respective thickness.
