ISODUR – Sidewalls

ISOSPORT has two ski and snowboard sidewall product groups within its range. The one group uses thermoplastic materials, and the other one uses thermosetting resins.
In order to assure high adhesiveness, both extruded and phenol sheets are sanded – on one or both sides, as requested.

In addition to sheet products (product code: ID xxxx), finished edges (for skis and snowboards) are also produced - pursuant to client-tailored profiles - through a computer-guided and highly streamlined cutting and milling procedure (product name: IDSW xxxx). Edge products, bonded as sheet products with wood layers or other core materials (e.g. ISOCORE), make up the base from which ski cores or half cores can be cut out.
