Another step towards more sustainable materials: our glass fibre laminates are now being manufactured with bio-based resin systems.
The new resins contain a relevant share of carbon from renewable raw materials. They are based on by-products from other industrial processes – materials that would otherwise be considered residual streams are thus turned into valuable components of our production.
With this change, we are reducing the share of fossil raw materials in our laminates and lowering the CO₂ footprint along the supply chain. At the same time, the technical properties of our products remain unchanged: mechanical performance, chemical resistance and processability continue to meet our proven quality standards.
For our customers, this means laminates with measurable ecological added value – without compromising on quality and without requiring any changes to their own processes.
For us, this development is an important contribution to greater sustainability in product development and another step towards combining ecological responsibility with technical performance.
