ISODUR – thermoplastic side walls

Specially modified ABS types (ID 2300, ID 2500) are used for the thermoplastic materials. These universally usable materials meet the important criteria for sidewalls, such as good bondability and low-temperature impact strength. They also impress with their high temperature stability, which is essential in the press processing of ski construction.

Color settings according to the current standard color palette are possible with ID 2300. Flame or plasma pretreatment is recommended to achieve high adhesion to common epoxy or PU adhesives.

Due to its special rubber modification, ID 2500 has excellent adhesion to common adhesive systems even without pre-treatment. ID 2500 is available in white and black. On request, these thermoplastic panels can be ground or ground/gas pre-treated and milled into sidewalls according to your geometric specifications.
