On a double-belt press, one or more glass fabric layers are impregnated with epoxy resin and completely cured. Impregnation, pressing, curing, surface processing, and packaging are taking place in a continuous process. Various fabric constructions (such as linen or connecting chains with various carbon or basalt fibers) with various fiber weights may be used.
Through targeted combination of fabrics – if required also in connection with unidirectional rovings – the property profile of products can be perfectly adapted to customer-specific requirements.
Fabric laminates are manufactured on rolls or cut to length in thicknesses of 0.25 mm to 1.6 mm and in widths of up to 630 mm.
